This policy explains how Realty HQ LLC (“Realty HQ,” “we,” “us”) collects, uses, and protects information from people who visit realtyhqusa.com. Realty HQ LLC is a real estate brokerage based in South Jordan, Utah, serving buyers and sellers across the Wasatch Front. A separate version of this policy covers our agent recruiting site, whyrealtyhq.com.

Information we collect

Information you give us

When you submit a contact form, request a home valuation, ask to see a property, sign up for listing email alerts, or register for property search, we collect the information you provide directly. That typically includes your name, email address, phone number, the property or area you are interested in, your price range and search criteria, your timeline, and any message content you write.

Information collected automatically

We collect standard analytics data when you browse the site: IP address, approximate location derived from that IP address, device type, browser, pages visited, time on page, and the site or search that referred you. We use cookies for basic site functionality and for analytics.

Property search and IDX listing data

Listing data on this site comes from the Multiple Listing Service (MLS) and is displayed through Add On IDX, an IDX product provided by iHomefinder (Kestrel). Listing information is deemed reliable but is not guaranteed.

• When you register to save searches, favorite homes, or view certain listing details, an account is created with the IDX provider. That provider receives and processes the registration details you submit and your activity on the search tools, under its own terms and privacy policy as well as this one.
• Your search activity, such as saved searches, favorited properties, and listings you view, can be visible to Realty HQ and to the Realty HQ agent assigned to your enquiry, and is used to follow up with relevant homes.
• MLS rules require that IDX listing data be used only by consumers who have a bona fide interest in buying or selling real estate.

How we use your information

• To answer your question and connect you with a Realty HQ agent.
• To prepare and deliver home valuations and comparable sales you request.
• To set up and send listing alerts and saved search results.
• To schedule showings and support you through a purchase or sale.
• To understand how the site is used so we can improve it.

Where your information goes

When you submit a form or register for property search, that information is transmitted to Realty HQ’s customer relationship management system, Follow Up Boss, and to the Realty HQ agent assigned to your enquiry. It is used to follow up with you.

We also share information with the service providers that run parts of this site on our behalf: the IDX provider (Add On IDX / iHomefinder) for property search and registration, Google Analytics for site measurement, our email and text message delivery providers, and our website host.

We do not sell your personal information. We do not share your information with anyone outside Realty HQ and these service providers, except where you have asked us to (for example, sharing your details with a lender or title company for a transaction) or where we are required to by law.

Analytics and cookies

This site uses Google Analytics 4. It sets cookies in your browser and reports information such as which pages you viewed, how you arrived, your device and browser, and an approximate location based on your IP address. It does not tell us your name or exact address. We use it in aggregate to see which pages and neighborhoods people care about.

You can clear or block cookies in your browser settings, and you can install Google’s browser add-on to opt out of Google Analytics entirely. Blocking cookies may affect saved searches and other features that need to remember you.

Calls, texts and emails

When you give us your phone number on a form or during property search registration, you agree that Realty HQ or the agent assigned to your enquiry may contact you by phone, text message, and email about your enquiry and about homes that match what you asked for. Consent to receive marketing texts is not a condition of buying or selling a home with us. Message and data rates may apply.

You can stop contact at any time:

• Reply STOP to any text message.
• Use the unsubscribe link at the bottom of any marketing email.
• Email homes@realtyhqusa.com and tell us how you would like to be contacted, or that you would rather not be.

We may still need to contact you about an active transaction or a request you made.

Your choices and your data

You can ask us for a copy of the information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email homes@realtyhqusa.com and we will respond within 30 days. If you registered for property search, deleting your account with the IDX provider also removes the saved searches and favorites held there.

Detailed cookie disclosures and a full description of state-specific rights, including for California and Utah residents, are still being finalized with legal review. In the meantime, you can exercise the choices described above by emailing us and we will handle the request the same way.

Keeping information and keeping it safe

We keep the information you give us for as long as we need it to help you and to meet the record-keeping obligations that apply to a licensed real estate brokerage. We use reasonable measures to protect it, but no website or system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Children

This site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page. Material changes will be noted here.
